ON CITIES is among the contributors of ‘Hotel Metropolis’, the upcoming exhibition organized by the “Pavillon de l’Arsenal”, the Paris center for urbanism and architecture. The exhibition will be presented from the 16 of October 2019 until January 12, 2020. ON CITIES supported the work of the Pavillon de l’Arsenal, by conducting an extended research on the hotel typology. We’ve also had the opportunity to produce and exhibit a series of plans, analyzing the highly articulated functional-mix typical of the Parisian hotels lobbies. Our collaboration with the Pavillon de l’Arsenal included also a long essay on hotel’s lobbies, written by Marcello Tavone and published in the exhibition catalogue.
