From an urban standpoint, the project develops the theme of the “open” urban block, by proposing a composition of autonomous volumes. This creates a permeable urban space, ensuring a strong continuity of public spaces. We decided to fragment the functional program in order to transform this new educational complex into a small campus composed of gardens and promenades.

From an architectural point of view, the project proposes simple, clear constructions. This clarity has been translated by dividing served and servant spaces in each building and by opting for prefabricated structures with a regular structural module.

This approach enabled us to investigate the concepts of open-plan and flexibility. The typology, the construction system, and the systems solutions of each building reflect our intent to create “malleable” and reversible places that could easily be transformed over time.
